The product development process refers to the entire activity of conceiving and realizing a new product for a company, where the product concept may originate from the market, or from an autonomous innovative workspace, and of course, usually these ideas also include from customers.

New product development usually follows a phased process in which a company conceives a new product idea, then researches, plans, designs, prototypes and tests it, and finally brings it to market.

Our company's typical product development process has the following six steps.

Step 1: Conceptualization: idea generation.

Step 2: Product definition.

Step 3: contouring.

Step 4: Detailed design.

Step 5: Prototype testing.

Step 6: Commercialization.

1. Step 1: Conceptualization

"Idea" is the first step in the new product development process and is the origin of the new product concept. Usually this step is the result of idea screening for a new product and typically involves

Exploring the idea of the product concept.

Business analysis.

Conducting market research.

and exploring its technical and market risks.

2. Step 2: Product Definition

This step conducts concept development and involves refining the definition of the product concept and ensuring that the team truly understands the product idea and customer needs.

3. Step 3: Contouring

The initial outline design allows the development and sales teams to gain a deeper product understanding of the product.

4. Step 4: Detailed Design

In this stage, the focus is on product design, but also on refining the requirements and improving the product prototype, through detailed design to make the product more in line with market needs.

5. Step 5: Prototype Testing

The mold maker will make the prototype for testing according to the design, and the development department and sales department will do the final product debugging in the commercialization stage according to the actual prototype.

The final design as below, and some of other storage baskets:

6. Step 6: Commercialization

The newly developed product is advanced to commercial production by attending exhibitions or sending catalogs to customers for marketing.
