2024 China Light Industry Foreign Trade Development Annual Conference held in Beijing.
On March 21-22, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industry and Crafts (CCCLIC) held the 2024 China Light Industry Foreign Trade Development Annual Meeting in Beijing. We mainly produce and sell metal houseware, and we are also a member of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industrial Arts and Crafts (CCCLA), and we were honored to participate in this annual meeting on the development of foreign trade.
This year's conference was held under the theme of "Strengthening Confidence, Stabilizing Expectations, Promoting Development through Innovation and Quality". Many economic experts, industry experts, national government officials and leaders delivered speeches on international and domestic economic and trade situation and policies, high-quality development of foreign trade, building a double-cycle development pattern, RMB exchange rate, cross-border e-commerce and other topics for the annual meeting.
Mr. Wang Zhongqi, President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industry and Crafts (CCCLIC), Mr. Li Wenfeng, Mr. Zhang Jie and Mr. Chen Jiangfeng, Vice Presidents of CCCLIC, attended the meeting, and Mr. Wang delivered a speech for the annual meeting. Nearly 400 people attended the meeting from the leaders of many local commerce departments, local light industry trade associations and representatives of light industry foreign trade enterprises. It was an unprecedented enthusiasm, which also reflected the leading and driving role of the Chamber of Commerce to the majority of enterprises.
At the meeting, Mr. Tao Xiong, Deputy General Manager of Public Affairs of Alibaba International Digital Business Group, Mr. Liu Fengge, Director of Business Development and Operation of Amazon Global Store China, and Mr. Li Xiang, Project Manager of SGS Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. delivered special speeches on cross-border e-commerce, green trade and other topics.
In the experience sharing session of excellent light industrial enterprises to promote high-quality development, Li Jihui, General Manager of Yangjiang Shibazi Kitchen Industry Co. Ltd. shared their successful practices and experiences in intelligent manufacturing, double-cycle development, brand building, going out, cross-border e-commerce and comprehensive foreign trade services. It provided valuable learning experience and demonstration effect for the majority of enterprise friends. During the annual meeting, the Chamber also organized a visit to BOE Technology Innovation Center.
